Our sensors have different lengths and are therefore installed at different depths of the ground. Once the time comes to remove the sensors from the ground, it can sometimes be difficult to remove them. Please follow the below instructions to guarantee that the sensors will not be damaged when pulling them out of the soil:
Please turn sensors clockwise while pulling them out of the ground and not against it. Otherwise the sensor head will be screwed out of the thread. Sensors installed at greater depths should be dug free up until 30 cm with a spade if possible, in order to be able to grip the sensor better and to avoid breaking the sensor head (plastic) from the extension rod (metal). If necessary it can be of help to pour some water onto the soil around the sensor to facilitate the extraction.
